Historical Description
Crockenrwell, a village in Cheriton-Bishop and Drewsteignton parishes, Devonshire, on the river Teign, amid fine rock scenery, 11 miles W of Exeter. It has a post office under Newton Abbott; money order office, Dunsford; telegraph office, Chagford. There is a chapel of ease.
