Cawsand Beacon or Cosdon, Devon

Historical Description

Cawsand Beacon or Cosdon, a mountain in the north of Dartmoor, Devonshire, 4 miles SE by E of Oakhampton. Its height is 1792 feet. It was a station of the Ordnance Survey, and it commands a very extensive and most striking view.
