Stone Gravels, Derbyshire

Historical Description

Stone Gravels, a hamlet in Chesterfield parish, Derbyshire, 1 mile N of Chesterfield station on the M.R. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Chesterfield. There is a chapel of ease, erected in 1869 and restored in 1889. It is in the Gothic style, and consists of chancel, nave, S porch, and bell-turret.
