Hackney, Lower and Over, two hamlets in Darnley parish, Derbyshire, 4 miles NW of Matlock, and 1 mile from Darnley Dale station on the M.R. There is a post office of the name of Hackney under Matlock Bath; money order and telegraph office, Matlock Bank.
