The Aled, Denbighshire
Historical Description
Aled, The, a stream of North Wales. It rises at Llyn-Aled, in the SW of Denbighshire, and runs 10 miles northward, past the seat of Dyfiryn-Aled, to a confluence with the Elwy, 2 miles NE of Llanfair-Talhaiarn. The upper part of its course is through a narrow and beautifully wooded glen, in which it forms two waterfalls.
