The Barrow, Cumberland

Historical Description

Barrow, The, a rivulet of Cumberland, falling into Derwent Water, 2½ miles S of Keswick. A cascade of two falls occurs on it, altogether 122 feet, and is approached through the beautiful grounds of Barrow House.
