Grange, Cumberland
Historical Description
Grange, a village in the ecclesiastical parish and township of Borrowdale, in Crosthwaite civil parish, Cumberland, 4 miles S by W of Keswick railway station, with a post and money½order office under Keswick. The scenery is charming. The monks of Furness laid up at Grange their stores of grain and tithe. The benefice is held by the Vicar of Borrowdale; net yearly value, £28. Patron, the Vicar of Borrowdale. The church is modern, and there is a Wesleyan chapel.

Holy Trinity (parish church)
The church of Holy Trinity, erected in 1860, by the exertions of the late Miss Heathcote (d. 1885), is a building of stone, in a very plain style, and consists of chancel, nave, porch and a turret containing one bell: there are 104 sittings.
