Foxfield, Cumberland
Historical Description
Foxfield, a railway station adjacent to the boundary between Cumberland and Lancashire, at the head of the Duddon estuary, three-quarters of a mile SSW of Broughton-in-Fumess. It is the junction station of the Wbitehaven and Furness railway with the Furness, Ulverston, and Lancaster railway. '
