Crookdale, Cumberland
Historical Description
Crookdale, a hamlet in Bromfield township and parish, Cumberland, on the Carlisle end Maryport railway, 6¼ miles SW of Wigton. Crookdale Hall belonged to the Ballantines, and passed to the Dykeses.
