Trefilan, a parish, with Talsarn hamlet, in Cardiganshire, 6 miles NNW of Lampeter. Post town, Lampeter (R.S.O.) Acreage, 2214; population, 238. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St David's; net value, £113 with residence. Patron, the Bishop. The church was rebuilt in 1806.
