The Cothi, Cardiganshire

Historical Description

Cothi, The, a river of South Wales, chiefly of Carmarthenshire. It rises a little east of the Craig-Twrch Mountains, within the southern border of Cardiganshire, and runs about 25 miles south-westward past Dolan-Cothi, Abergorlech, and Brechfa, to the Towy, near Llanergwad, 5½ miles E of Carmarthen. It affords good trout fishing.
