Gamant, Carmarthenshire

Historical Description

Gamant, a mining locality on the SE border of Carmarthenshire, under the Black Mountains, 2 miles SW of Brynam-man, and 4¼ ENE of Pantyffynnon Junction. It has a station on the Llanellyand Llandovery branch of the G.W.R., and a post, money order, and telegraph office (R.S.O.)
