Penygroes, a village in Llanllyfni parish, Carnarvonshire, C miles S of Carnarvon. It has a station on The Carnarvonshire branch of the L. & N.W.R., and a post, money order, and telegraph office (R.S.O.) It has a chapel of ease, and Baptist, Calvinistic Methodist, Congregational, and Wesleyan chapels.
