Nant Ffrancon, Carnarvonshire
Historical Description
Nant Ffrancon, a grand mountain pass in the E of Carnarvonshire, under Llyn Ogwen Falls, 4½ miles NW of Capel Curig. The name signifies "the vale of the beavers."
