Wilderspool, Cheshire

Historical Description

Wilderspool, a hamlet in Great Budworth parish, Cheshire, three-quarters of a mile S of Warrington, with a post and money order office (T.S.O.) under Warrington. There is a large brewery. It was a Roman station, and Roman coins and other relics have been found.
