The Irvon or Yrfon, Breconshire

Historical Description

Irvon or Yrfon, The, a river of Brecknockshire. It rises in Bryngarw, runs about 20 miles eastward, and falls into the Wye near Builth. Its scenery is romantic, and its waters afford sport to anglers.
