The Cefni, Anglesey

Historical Description

Cefni, The, a river of Anglesey. It rises near the centre of the county, runs 5 miles south-eastward to Llangefni, and goes thence 7 miles southward and south-westward to Malldraeth Bay. The Cliester and Holyhead section of the L. & N.W.R. crosses it about 1½ mile above its mouth on a nineteen-arched viaduct.
