Mouse Isles, Anglesey

Historical Description

Mouse Isles, a series of skerries or rocky islets off the N coast of Anglesey. One is East Mouse, 1 mile NW of AmIwch; another is Middle Mouse, 3 miles W of the preceding, and opposite Llanbadrig; and another is West Mouse, 5 miles further W, and near Carmel Head. The Coal Rock, with a beacon on it, is near the last; and the Great Skerries, with a lighthouse on them, are 2 miles NW of Carmel Head.
