Malldraeth Marsh, Anglesey

Historical Description

Malldraeth Marsh, a wide and desolate expanse of marshy ground in the SW of Anglesey. It has been to some extent drained by the embankment of the river Cefni, which opens on to the Malldraeth Sands at Malldraeth Bay. It is crossed by a viaduct of the Chester and Holyhead branch of the L. & N.W.R.
