Historical Description

Llanfihangel-Rhos-y-Corn, a parish in Carmarthenshire, on an affluent of the river Cothi, 10 miles NW of Llandilo. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Nantgaredig (R.S.O.) Acreage, 8845; population, 532. Most of the land is hill and mountain. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of St David's; net value, £130. Patron, the Bishop of St David's. The church is good.
