Llanfihangel-y-Pennant, an extensive ecclesiastical parish, now united as a civil parish with the parishes of Dolbenmaen and Penmorfa, Carnarvonshire, under Moel Hebog, 4 miles NW by N of Tremadoc. Post town, Garn Dolbenmaen (R.S.O.); telegraph office, Criccieth. Brynkir is a chief residence. Moel Hebog has an altitude of 2579 feet. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bangor; net value, £138. Patron, the Bishop of Bangor. There are three Calvinistic Methodist chapels in the parish.
