Tyberton, Herefordshire

Historical Description

Tyberton, a parish in Herefordshire, 3 miles from Peterchurch station on the Golden Valley railway, and 9 W of Hereford. Post town, Hereford; money order office, Madley; telegraph office, Staunton-on-Wye. Acreage, 1126; population, 126. Tyberton Court is a mansion situated in a well-wooded park on the slope of Stockley Hill. The living is a rectory, annexed to Madley. The church of All Saints was erected in 1720, and contains some unique carved woodwork.
