Stanford Bishop, a parish in Herefordshire, 3 miles SE of Bromyard. Post town, Bromyard, under Worcester. Acreage, 1514; population, 193. The manor belongs to the Ecclesiastical Commissioners. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Hereford; net value, £160. Patron, the Bishop of Hereford. The church is ancient, and was restored in 1885.
