Historical Description
Donnington, a parish in Herefordshire, under the Malvern Hills, at the boundary with Gloucestershire, on the river Leadon, 2 miles S of Ledbury, which is the post town. Acreage, 1038; population, 112. Donnington Hall is the chief residence. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford; net value, £140 with residence. The church dates from the 13th century, and was restored in 1862.
