Cubbington, Warwickshire

Historical Description

Cubbington, a village and a parish in Warwickshire, near the river Avon and the Fosse W½ay, 2¼ miles NE of Leamington, and 4 ENE of Warwick, with a post and money order office under Leamington Spa; telegraph office, Leamington Spa. Acreage, 2112; population, 1074. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Worcester; gross value, e£230 with residence. The church is ancient, partly Norman, and there is a Wesleyan chapel.
