Billesley, Warwickshire

Historical Description

Billesley, a parish in Warwickshire, 2 miles SW of Wilm-cote station on the G.W.R., and 3½ WNW of Stratford-on-Avon, which is the pobt town. Acreage, 8 22; population, 16. Billesley Hall was a large Elizabethan mansion, but only a portion now remains. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Worcester; gross value, £232. The church is small.
