Orleton, Worcestershire

Historical Description

Orleton, a chapelry in Eastham parish, Worcestershire, on the river Teme, 4½ miles SE of Newnham Bridge station on the Bewdley and Tenbury branch of the G.W.R., and 6½ E by S of Tenbury. Post town, Stanford Bridge; telegraph office, Newnham Bridge. Acreage, 546; population, 118. The living is a chapelry, annexed to the rectory of Eastham, in the diocese of Hereford.
