Dormston, Worcestershire

Historical Description

Dormston, a parish in Worcestershire, 6½ miles SE of Droitwich. Post town, Redditch; money order office, Ink-berrow; telegraph office, Feckenham. Acreage, 820; population, 88. The living is a vicarage, annexed to the rectory of Kington, in the diocese of Worcester; joint net value, £150 with residence. The church dates from the 13th century, and has a half-timbered tower of post-Reformation date.
