Historical Description
Duddington, a parish in Northamptonshire, on the river Welland, at the boundary with Rutland, 3 miles SE from Ketton station on the M.R., and 5 SW from Stamford. It has a post, money order, and telegraph office under Stam-ford. Acreage, 1417; population, 321. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Peterborough; net yearly value, £95, with residence, and 32½ acres of land. Patron, the Bishop of Peterborough. The church is ancient but good, with a tower and short spire, and there is a Congregational chapel.

St. Mary Magdalene (parish church)
The church of St. Mary Magdalene is an ancient building of stone, in the Norman and Early English styles, consisting of chancel, clerestoried nave, aisles, south porch and a tower on the south side of the chancel with small pyramidal spire, and containing one bell: the roof was restored in 1872: there are sittings for 250 persons.
