Historical Description

Wallington Demesne, a township in Hartburn parish, Northumberland, 12 miles W of Morpeth, and 2 from Scots Gap station on the North British railway. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Cambo. Acreage, 1850; population, 162. Wallington Hall, the seat of the baronet family of Trevelyan, is an ancient mansion in the Italian style.
