Plenmeller, a township in Haltwhistle parish, Northumberland, on the South Tyne river, half a mile SE of Halt-whistle station on the N.E.R. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Haltwhistle. Acreage, 5043; population, 196. The manor belongs to the Dixon-Brown family. Much of the surface is occupied by Plenmeller Fell, which covers an area of 7 acres.
