Bryher, Cornwall

Historical Description

Brehar or Bryher, one of the Scilly Islands, which lies off Land's End, in Cornwall, in the NW of the group, 2½ miles NW of Hugh-Town. It is 2 miles long, rugged, wild, and high, and inhabited chiefly by fishermen. It contains some Droidical remains. Acreage, 360; population, 91.
