Historical Description

Sutton or Sutton-juxta-Frodsham, a village and a township in Runcorn parish, Cheshire, on the river Weaver, at Sutton Weaver station on the L. & N.W.R., 2 miles NE of Frodsham. There is a post office under Warrington; money order and telegraph office, Preston Brook. The township includes the hamlet of Frodsham Bridge. Acreage, 1189; population, 471.
