Hangleton, a parish in Sussex, under the South Downs, 1 mile NNE of Portslade station on the L.B, & S.C.R., and 3½ miles NW by W of Brighton. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Portslade. Acreage, 1120; population, 49. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Chi-chester; value, £100. Patron, Lord Sackville. The church is Early English, small, and in good condition.
