Mansergh, a township and an ecclesiastical parish in Kirkby Lonsdale parish, Westmorland, on the river Lune, and 8½ miles N of Kirkby Lonsdale station on the L. & N.W.R. Post town and money order and telegraph office, Kirkby Lonsdale. Acreage, 2668; population, 239. Mansergh Hall is a chief residence. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Carlisle; gross value, £189 with residence. Patron, the Vicar of Kirkby Lonsdale. The church is ancient and good.
