Walmsgate, a parish in Lincolnshire, 3 miles from Authorpe station on the G.N.R., and 6½ SSE of Louth. Post town, Louth. Acreage, 827; population of the civil parish, 55; of the ecclesiastical, with Mnckton and Burwell, 317. The manor, with Walmsgate Hall, belongs to the Dallas-Yorke family. The living is a perpetual curacy annexed to Burwell.
