Withington, Old, a township in Prestbury parish, Cheshire, 2 miles S of Chelford station on the L. & N.W.R , and 7½ NNW of Congleton. Post town, Crewe; money order and telegraph office, Chelford. Acreage, 1115; population, 131. Withington Hall is the chief residence.
