Tasley, Shropshire

Historical Description

Tasley, a parish in Salop, 1½ mile WNW of Bridgnorth. Post town, Bridgnorth. Acreage, 1059; population, 67. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Hereford; net value, £120. The church stands on a lofty hill, was rebuilt in 1840, and contains a fine oak screen and other church furniture from the old building, which was entirely of wood.
