Burrill cum Cowling, North Riding of Yorkshire
Burrill-cum-Cowling, a township in Bedale parish, N.R. Yorkshire, 1½ mile SW of Bedale. It has a post office, of the name of Burrill, under Bedale, which is the money order and telegraph office. Acreage, 1071; population, 123. It forms with Bedale an ecclesiastical parish. There is a Wesleyan chapel.
