Ganstead, a township and a hamlet in Bilton parish, in the E.R. Yorkshire, 4½ miles NE by N of Hull, and 1 mile from Swine station on the N.E.R. There is a post office under Hull; money order and telegraph office, Sutton. Acreage, 809; population, 87.
