Eppleby, a township in Forcett parish, in the N.R. Yorkshire, on the N border of the county, 3 miles from Pierce Bridge railway station, and 9 N of Eichmond. It has a post. office under Darlington; money order and telegraph office, Aldbrough. Acreage, 1118; population, 366. There is a Methodist chapel.
