Oldbury, Wiltshire
Historical Description
Oldbury, a curious earthwork in Codford St Mary parish, Wilts, on Codford Hill, 4 miles SE of Heytesbury. It is called also Codford Circle; is supposed to have been formed, not for defensive purposes, but by the Druids for religious rites, and commands a very interesting view.
