Whichford, a parish in Warwickshire, 5½ miles N of Chipping Norton, and 6 SE of Shipston-on-Stour. Post town, Shipston-on-Stour. The parish includes the hamlets of Ascott and Stourton, and comprises 3083 acres; population, 507. There is a parish council of five members and a chairman. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Worcester; net value, £366 with residence. Patron, Christ Church, Oxford. The church is ancient. There are Wesleyan chapels at Ascott and Stourton.
