Spernall, a parish in Warwickshire, 3 miles N of Alcester. Post town, Redditch; money order and telegraph office, Studley. Acreage, 1110; population, 70. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Worcester; gross value, £159 with residence. Patron, the Lord Chancellor. The church is ancient, and was partly rebuilt in 1844.
