Bolebrook, Sussex

Historical Description

Bolebrook, an ancient seat of the Sackvilles, in Hartfield parish, Sussex, 4¼ miles E of East Grinstead. It was built of brick in the 15th century, but is now a small ruin. It passed for a time to Lord G. Germaine, and gave him the title of Baron.
