Culpho, Suffolk

Historical Description

Culpho, a village and a parish in Suffolk, 1¼ mile NW of Bealings station on the G.E.R., and 5 miles NE from Ipswich. Post town, Ipswich; money order and telegraph office, Little Bealings. Acreage, 726; population, 67. The living is a vicarage, annexed to that of Playford, in the diocese of Norwich; joint net yearly value, £170 with residence. The church is a building of rubble in the Early English style.
