Charsfield, Suffolk

Historical Description

Charsfield, a parish in Suffolk, 3 miles WNW of Wickham Market, 5 W from Wickham Market station on the G.E.R., and 5½ N of Woodbridge. It has a post and money order office under Wickham Market; telegraph office, Wickham Market. Acreage, 1358; population, 411. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Norwich; net yearly value, £86 with residence. The church is a neat brick structure. There is a Baptist chapel.
