Brandish, Suffolk
Historical Description
Brandish, a village and a parish in Suffolk, 4½ miles N by W of Framlingham station on the G.E.R. There is a post office under Framlingham (R.S.O.), which is the money order office; telegraph office, Stradbroke. Acreage of parish, 2126; population, 377. The living is a perpetual curacy annexed to the vicarage of Tannington in the diocese of Norwich; joint net yearly value, £150 with residence, in the gift of the Bishop of Norwich. The church is a building of flint in the Perpendicular style.
