Historical Description

Cobridge, an ecclesiastical parish in Burslem parish, Staffordshire, in the vicinity of Burslem. It was constituted in 1845. It has a post, money order, and telegraph office (T.S.O.) under Stoke-upon-Trent. Population, 5424. The living is a vicarage in the diocese of Lichfield; net value, £310 with residence. Patron, the Rector of Burslem. The church was erected in 1839, and enlarged in 1842. See BURSLEM.
