Withycombe, a parish, with a village, in Somerset, 1½ mile from Washford station on the G.W.R. Post town, Carhampton; money order and telegraph office, Dunster. Acreage, 3565; population of the civil parish, 365; of the ecclesiastical, 233. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Bath and Wells; net value, £150 with residence. The church is Norman with an embattled tower. There is a Bible Christian chapel.
